The Daniel Method is an atmospheric, first-person "walking simulator." Use your navigatory wit to traverse a small, frigid valley in search of an escape. Who knows what you may find in the fog?

This project was completed in 8 days for the Pursuing Pixels Game Jam in June 2024. It was made using Godot 4.2.2 (compatibility feature set). Most textures were gathered from Polyhaven under the CC0 License. All sound effects were gathered from Freesound under the CC0 License. All other assets were created by hand within the jam's time frame.

This game is such a vibe. The adaptive music is fantastic and I love how objects would never fall out of the wheelbarrow. The ps1 wobbliness is also an amazing touch. I can tell this was made by an expert.
